Originally from the Midwest, Sheryl came to the Roaring Fork Valley in 2010 for what was meant to be a single ski season. A sustainability internship deepened her connection to the valley’s environmental community and sparked a lasting commitment to water and watershed protection. As Development Director, she enjoys helping supporters create meaningful impact for the Roaring Fork Watershed and the rivers that connect us.
Sheryl holds a BA in French from Indiana University, with a minor in Nonprofit Management, and a certification in Fund Development for Nonprofits from the Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs and The Fund Raising School – Center on Philanthropy. Outside of work, she loves travel, good food, learning new things, and exploring the outdoors with her family.
