A born and raised Midwesterner, Sheryl came to the Roaring Fork Valley during her senior year in college to learn how to ski. After graduation she intended to stay for only one ski season, but ended up working in Ski School Operations and interning with the Sustainability Department for Aspen Skiing Company. She graduated from Indiana University with a BA in French, minor in Nonprofit Management, and certification in 'Fund Development for Nonprofits,' from the Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs and The Fund Raising School - Center on Philanthropy. Sheryl joined RFC in May of 2015 and looks forward to augmenting her skillset in the nonprofit and sustainability realm with a deeper understanding of water issues facing the Roaring Fork Valley and the American West. Sheryl is passionate about travel, learning new things, and good food.
