Roaring Fork Valley Fly Fishing Club and Roaring Fork Conservancy present the 9th Annual Iron Fly Competition!
WHEN: Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 5:30-10pm
WHERE: The Tipsy Trout in Basalt, CO
COST: Suggested donation at the door of $5 for spectators / $20 for competitors (youth are free)
Iron Fly is a fly tying event combined with a little, friendly competition. Competitors are provided with secret and funky materials that must be used in each fly. Youth division for ages 16 and under, starting at 5:30pm. Adult competition starts at 7:00pm.
Competitors:
- Youth Division (16 and under) is limited to first 15 that register. (Youth are free)
- Adult Division is limited to first 25 that register.
- Competitors: bring your fly tying vise and all of your fly tying tools. (A limited amount of vices and tools will be available to borrow.) Fly tying materials will be provided.
